WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 GUNS USED BY INDIAN SPECIAL FORCES ?

India over the years has built its capacity
in special operations like counter insurgency, anti-terror operations and hostage rescue. In the forefront are the Special Forces like
NSG, Marcos and Para Commandos to name a few. Indian Special Forces are considered to be
one of the most lethal fighting units in the world. They are equipped with most advanced weapons
and accessories. India has acquired top of the line guns from
around the world to enable these Special Forces to neutralize the enemy under any circumstances. The guns chosen by the Special Forces vary
depending on the type of operation and the surrounding environment. In this video, we will look at 5 guns, which
are most commonly used by Special Forces of India. The Tavor X95, also dubbed Micro-Tavor is
an Israeli assault rifle, designed by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI). It is a stand-alone derivative of the original
IWI Tavor assault rifle. Like all IWI firearms, it was developed in
close cooperation with elite units of the Israel Defense Force, tailored to their specific
requirements and needs. India develops it locally under IWI license,
through Ordinance Factory Board. Indian version is slight customization of
the x 95 and is called Zittara. The main difference is the Zittara uses bullets
made in India, instead of standard NATO rounds. Here are some of the main features: 1.       Overall Length (OAL) is only 22.8 inches making it apt for maneuvering
in close combat scenarios. 2.       The X95 is 100% ambidextrous
to right or left hand operation with the optional opposite hand bolt. 3.       Simple field stripping for easy maintenance. 4.       It has a very balanced design. Even in full-automatic mode, it is easy to
control, despite its tiny size. The M4A1 carbine is a shorter
and lighter variant of the M16A2 assault rifle. It is a 5.56×45mm NATO, air-cooled, gas-operated,
magazine-fed carbine. It has a 14.5 in (370 mm) barrel and a telescoping stock. It is
designed and manufactured by Colt Defense. The gun was used by the US Navy SEALS to shoot
down Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan’s Abottabad. India acquired M4A1s as part of 2008 Foreign
Military Sales. Here are some of the main features: 1.       Equipped with a shorter barrel, collapsible stock and detachable carrying
handle (with a built-in accessory rail) it provides soldiers operating in close quarters
with improved handling and the capability to rapidly and accurately engage targets. 2.       Solid overall reliability, like working in dusty environment or in wet
conditions. 3. The M4 is also capable of mounting the
M203 grenade launcher. This makes it a very versatile and lethal weapon. 4. Visible, and IR (infrared) lights of various manufacturers can be attached using various
mounting methods on the gun. Corner Shot is a weapon invented by Lt. Col.
Amos Golan of the Israeli Defense Forces in cooperation with American investors. It was
designed in the early 2000s for SWAT teams and Special Forces in hostile situations usually
involving terrorists and hostages. Its purpose is to allow its operator to both see and attack
an armed target, without exposing the operator to counterattack.
Following the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, the central government decided to upgrade the
weaponry of the National Security Guards (NSG) and other special forces. The government has
purchased an undisclosed number of these guns from Israeli firm Corner Shots L L C, which
manufactures the gun. Here are some of the main features: 1.       In the standard version a pistol is mounted in the front end of the weapon, which bends horizontally at a mid-gun hinge. It can turn standard 60 degrees or
even 90 degrees depending on the variant. 2.       A 40 mm single shot grenade
launcher is also present. 3.       There is a digital camera
and a flashlight attached to the barrel. Because they are fitted with high-resolution digital
cameras, these guns can also be used as a surveillance tool. 2.5-inch color LCD monitor
provides video observation and sighting system with transmission capability. The Heckler & Koch is a 9mm submachine gun
of German design. Team of engineers from the German small arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch
GmbH (H&K) has designed it. The MP5 is one of the most widely used submachine guns in
the world, having been adopted by 40 nations and numerous military, law enforcement, intelligence,
and security organizations. It is also widely used by SWAT teams in North America.
The MP5 achieved iconic status as a result of its use on live television by SAS commandos
in Operation Nimrod, where they stormed the Iranian Embassy in London, rescuing hostages
and killing five terrorists Here are some of the main features: 1. Tremendously reliable, with maximum safety
for the user. 2. Easy to handle, modular, extremely accurate
and extraordinarily easy to control when firing. 3. Magazine include 15, 30, 40 rounds detachable
box or 100 round drum magazine. 4. It uses standard-velocity ammunition and
still functions quietly. 5. The MP5 is available with interchangeable
fixed, retracting, and folding butt stocks. 6. Designed as a tactical rifle, the MP5 offers
a number of attachment points for mounting optics and accessories.
7. The trigger group selections include single-fire only, fully automatic, 2-round, or 3-round
burst options. The Beretta AR90 is a gas operated self-loading
assault rifle chambered for the 5.56×45mm NATO cartridge.
The Beretta AR90 assault rifle was developed when the Italian Government decided that its
military and law enforcement agencies needed a new standard service weapon. It was made
to be compatible with other NATO weapons by the adoption of standard 5.56mm rounds. The weapon is also designed to be fitted with
a rifle grenade, and has grenade sights. The assault rifle is similar to the legendary
AK-47 in many aspects. Here are some of the main features: 1. It weighs approximately only 4 kg in standard
configuration. 2. It has three firing positions (full auto,
three-round burst, and semi-auto) and a safe. 3. It can accept 30 round detachable box magazine
or 100 round C form drum magazine. 4. Unique feature of AR-90 is the barrel mounting
system, which enables fast, field replacement of a barrel with no need for fine tuning. 5. Aside from stamped steel sheets, AR-90 has extensive use of polymer – the forward
and pistol grip and the stock. This makes the gun extremely dependable even when exposed
to harsh environments.

  4. why does India choose not to use the 5.56 nato round in preference to a round made in India? Did they miss the whole reason for standardized ammunition? Compatability and availability?

  5. not only weapons even the operators need to innovate their striking skills. forces need to recruit volunteers depending upon the skill only then exactly expected results could b achieved. chest thumping and mere investing in weapons no more help in real life combat

  12. INDIA MUST MODERNIZE ALL INFANTRY UNITS INCLUDING THE RESERVES WITH BEST WEAPONS AND GEARS.WHAT'S THE USE OF KEEPING A BIG ARMY WITH ILL EQUIPPED WEAPONS

  13. Indian special forces don't use the Tavor X95. It has been issued to paramilitary forces like the CRPF and BSF. And Osama Bin Laden was killed by bullets fired from a HK 416 and not M4. The rifle at No. 1 is the Beretta AR90?!?! Seriously, guys?! Where is the SIG 550 used by the NSG and used in many operations including the Mumbai terror attacks? What an amateurish video and the script has been lifted from Wikipedia. Guys be more professional while making such videos.

  17. You should directly tell that Indian Special Forces don't use Indian weapons, as they are sub-standard

  18. What about Baretta, US Army new XM8, Cheytac intervention sniper rifle, FN SCAR, FN90 rifles? India must also look for MG3 machine gun and new modern ultra light weight German assault rifles like Heckler&Koch

  20. If only we would make state of the art weapons, we could say 'SUCK IT' to china. Or have we made other than Bhramos? please tell me

  21. Mp5 and m4 are the only good guns in thus list. All the rest are horrible in many ways but hyped up so fancy people want to buy to look professional but the people who know better are shaking their heads

  22. The picture given for number 3 is not M4A1 carbine. It is an M4 though. Carbine by definition comes with shorter barrel so it can be used in Close Quarters. Also the AI narration is very unsettling. Consider using own voice with bit of a V&A training. Or use a more natural sounding Text to Voice software.

  23. That tavor is not balanced at all and the Indian army rarely use the M4A1 close to not using

  24. leaving special forces all the indian defence soldiers are using shit crap outdated insas or world war2 carbine tottaly crap the condition of police is the worst they are still on 303 rifle

  25. 1.Travor x-95-Mainly used by CRPF COBRA COMMANDO

    4.MP-5-MAINLY USED BY NSG,MARCOS,FORCE ONE

    5.AR-90- MAINLY USED BY NSG

  26. OBL was shot with a HK 416, this is well known. The shooters books stated this plainly. At least get your facts right before coming out with this non sense.
