KAJA – TIPS, ITEMS, SPELL, EMBLEMS, TRICKS, AND GUIDE – MGL MOBILE LEGENDS BOOT CAMP VOLUME 61

Waddup, humans? Kurumi here! And welcome to the Mobile Legends Boot Camp! In this video, we are going to talk about
the support-fighter hero, Kaja. Kaja has a good set of mobility, crowd-control,
buff, and area-of-effect skills. Our Nazar King, Kaja, is a support-fighter
hero. I consider Kaja mainly as a support hero,
since his ultimate skill can hold and pull a target. Not only that, his passive skill could really
help harassing enemies in the early game. Now, let me share some tips and tricks on
how to use Kaja based on my experience. We will also teach you some combos and techniques
on the latter part of this boot camp. But before that, let me explain his skills
one by one for further understanding. Kaja’s passive, Wrath Sanction,
buffs his next basic attack after 6 seconds. This buffed basic attack will send lightning
to enemies, dealing a certain amount of Magic Damage. In addition,
a percentage of the target’s Maximum Health Points will also be added to the damage. The lightning will hit up to 3 enemies nearby. Kaja’s first skill, Ring of Order,
lets Kaja release a Ringed Electric Blade. Upon releasing this skill, the Ringed Electric
Blade quickly expands and contracts. Any enemy target that is hit will receive
a certain amount of Magic Damage. Not only that, they will also have their movement
speed reduced. Each damage dealt to the enemy units will
reduce the cool down of his passive skill. Kaja’s second skill, Lightning Bomb,
lets Kaja dash toward a designated location. Upon using this skill, Kaja will dash towards
the specified location. Kaja will be dropping 3 lightning bombs along
the way. Enemy units that touch the lightning bombs
will receive a certain amount of Magic Damage. We have an additional information for this
skill, although it is not written on the skill’s
description. Kaja’s movement speed is increased for a short
moment after using this skill. Kaja’s ultimate skill, Divine Judgment,
lets Kaja suppress a designated enemy hero. Upon using this skill,
Kaja will suppress a designated enemy hero for a few moments, and the target will receive a certain amount of Magic Damage. During the suppression time, the target will
have his Magic Defense reduced. The Magic Defense reduced will be absorbed
by Kaja for twice its amount. There are so many items that you can buy for
Kaja. You can focus on items that grants Defense, Movement Speed, Magic Power, and Movement Speed Reduction. For me, I choose to buy items that grants
Health, Defense, Movement Speed, Magic Power, and Movement Speed Reduction. You can also consider the Blue Items build
if you are more into dealing Magic Damage, making you a semi-fighter-support-mage. Considering the Durable build can help you
be more durable in team fights. But let’s talk about the Kurumi Way further. If you prefer more into roaming, then you
can consider buying Shadow Mask first. But before buying the complete Shadow Mask, consider buying Wooden Mask first then go for boots. Well anyway, let’s discuss first what Shadow
Mask does. This item grants Health Points and cool down
reduction. One of its unique attributes grants additional
movement speed. One of its unique active skill, Conceal,
lets you and allies near you enter Conceal state. This will also boost the affected units’ movement
speed. This lasts for a few seconds. Dealing or taking damage will end the state. This unique-active skill has a really long
cool down. Another unique passive of this item is Devotion. This grants you additional gold and experience
every 4 seconds. But the catch is, you won’t gain gold or experience
when killing minions, or monsters if a teammate is near you. This lets your teammates take all the gold
and experience, serving your role as a support-roaming hero. Another unique passive of this item is Thriving. This lets you gain extra experience and gold
with every assists you make. When you are ranked 5th on the gold rank of
your team, the gold granted by Devotion is modified and
you will now receive 20 gold every 4 seconds. Same goes with the experience granted by Devotion
every 4 seconds, you will be granted 35 experience per 4 seconds, when you are the 5th rank in the experience or level department. This is a really good item specially Kaja
is mostly a ganking support. For your kicks, you can consider buying Rapid
Boots. Rapid Boots grants a massive amount of movement
speed to your hero. Its unique passive will decrease your movement
speed by 40 points, when you deal damage or when you take damage. This effect lasts for 5 seconds. You might want to consider Fleeting Time. This item grants you additional magic power
and cool down reduction. Its unique passive grants your ultimate skill
cool down to be instantly reduced by a certain percentage after an elimination or an assist. This is really good since Kaja can assist
on killing enemies easily because of his skills, making his ultimate skill’s cool down reduced
instantly. You can consider buying Ice Queen Wand. This item gives additional magic power, magical
life steal, mana, and movement speed. Its unique passive lets you slow down an enemy,
when your skill hits them. The slowing effect lasts for a few seconds,
and stacks up to 2 times. You might want to consider Immortality. This grants you Physical Defense and Health
Points. Its unique passive lets you resurrect after
2 seconds upon death. This resurrects you and give you 15% health
points, and a shield that lasts for a few seconds. This item has a really long cool down. Lastly, you might also want to consider Queen’s
Wings. This item grants Physical Damage, Health points,
and cool down reduction. Its unique passive reduces damage taken by
50%, when your health is less than 40%,
and also increases your Physical Lifesteal by 30%. This lasts for 5 seconds. This effect has a 50 seconds cool down. The item build for Kaja really depends on
the enemy’s line up. So make sure to read each item’s description
so you can adapt in-game. One of the best spells to be used on Kaja
is Flicker. You can use it to escape danger, even death. You can use also Flicker in combo with your
ultimate skill to catch enemies off-guard. We will tackle on that later. You can also consider Arrival. This lets you Teleport to an allied turret,
or minion after casting it for a few seconds. Your movement speed will be increased after
teleporting. Also, the next basic attack will be enhanced
which will deal additional True Damage, and also reducing the target’s movement speed. In my opinion, the best emblem set to be used
is the Custom Support Emblem set. Custom Support Emblem could provide extra
stats according to your needs as a Support-Fighter. Set Agility to its Max level because it can
give you additional Movement Speed. Higher Movement Speed means higher chance
to chase enemies or escape death. Setting Rupture to max level will provide
Hybrid Penetration. Higher Hybrid Penetration means you can deal
more damage to enemies. That means, your enemy will feel your wrath
as a fighter on both magic and physical damage. Get Focusing Mark to increase the damage dealt
of your allies to your target, after dealing damage to that enemy. This is really one of the best option since
when you use your ultimate skill, your allies can increase their damage dealt
to that target, making him erased from existence in no time. This effect has a short cool down. Set first skill to max level first. Prioritizing this makes the cool down of this
skill lower and the base damage higher. That means, you can cast this skill again
as soon as possible. Prioritize second skill less since your first
skill is what you need to hurt enemies. Always upgrade his ultimate skill when available
for upgrading. Kaja’s passive skill is what you need to harass
enemies. With the ability to hit enemies with chain
lightning, this will still be a great contributor to
deal damage to enemies. Kaja’s range also gets farther when buffed
with his passive. So it’s really a great thing to stop enemies
that uses Regeneration. You can also chase down enemies with this
since the range of your basic attack will be farther, and will definitely deal more damage. Kaja’s first skill is what you need to slow
down enemy heroes. With the ability to deal damage and slow enemies
down, this can really be a great support skill for
your team. It can hit enemies twice since it is released
and is retracted when it reaches its farthest range. Also, this skill reduces the cool down for
your passive skill, depending on the number of enemies hit. So, it’s really best if you use this skill
around lots of enemies, so you can release your buffed basic attack
from your passive skill. Kaja’s second skill is what you need for mobility. With the ability to dash towards a specified
direction, you can either escape death, or chase enemies
with this. This skill can also let you pass through walls, so it’s really good on chasing enemies, or escaping death. This skill also drops 3 lightning bombs. These deals damage to enemies when they step
on it. This might look just a ball, but this can
be really painful when you step on it. This is a good combo with your ultimate skill,
and we will show that to you later. Kaja’s ultimate skill is what you need to
lockdown enemies. With the ability to suppress an enemy hero
and pull it towards to your desired direction, this is one of the greatest support ultimate
skill out there. This skill is what makes Kaja in the meta
at the moment, because one nice pulling can easily erase
an enemy hero from existence. This skill also has special conditions like
Franco’s ultimate. As you all know, this skill is a crowd-control
skill. So for a counter against this skill, you can
use Purify. But there is actually a condition to counter
this skill with Purify. And here we are again with our experiments. We have our favorite Lab Rat, Rackatan, to show us how to counter Kaja’s ultimate skill with purify. So first, we have a scenario on which Rackatan
will use Purify after we cast it. So, here we go. As you can see, Rackatan used Purify right
after we used Divine Judgment on him. His purify didn’t work and he was not able
to get out of our ultimate skill. How about he uses Purify right before we use
our Divine Judgment? As you can see, Rackatan was not able to be
pulled by our ultimate skill. This is kind of tricky to be explained, but that’s how you counter Divine Judgment with Purify. You have to time and use it right before Kaja
uses his ultimate. So better be aware of heroes that uses Purify
if you are using Kaja. Let’s have another experiment. For this scenario, we have Diggie. As we all know Diggie’s ultimate skill, it
has the same effects as Purify. So, let’s try using Divine Judgment first. As you can see, we were still able to pull
Diggie even if he used his ultimate skill. How about let’s use Divine Judgment while
Diggie is on his ultimate skill. As you can see, Diggie was not pulled and
was able to counter our Divine Judgment. So, you should also be aware that before pulling
someone around Diggie, make sure Diggie’s ultimate is either on cool
down, or be faster before Diggie uses it. Next, we have Grock. As we know, Grock is kind of immune to crowd-control when he is beside a wall while casting his first skill. So, if you are planning to pull Grock, make
sure that he has already used his first skill, or better yet pull other enemy heroes instead. Lastly, let’s have Chou. Chou’s second skill can dodge Crowd-control
skills. Let’s see if Rackatan is really a pro Chou. As you can see, he was able to dodge it on
our first try. That just shows he really is a pro Chou. So, if you are going to use your ultimate
against Chou, make sure Chou has already used his second
skill to avoid being countered. In terms of his combo, we usually follow a
simple combo for Kaja. First, make sure to know which hero you will
use your ultimate skill on. Then you can either use Conceal from the Shadow
Mask, or Flicker near your target. Then, use your ultimate skill on the desired
target. It is advisable using it against Marksman,
Mages, or Assassins, since they are the damage dealers and can
lessen the enemy team’s damage output. Then, use your second skill towards your team
mates. This will pull the target farther, and he will be massaged by your lightning balls, making the target receive more damage. Then, use your Basic attack and First skill. This will further deal damage to the target
and can also slow him down. Then, just focus on that target since it should
be an easy kill if you have lots of allies nearby. Here is another combo using Conceal and Flicker, since the enemy was able to run away from me when I used Conceal. Additional Tip:
Whenever Kaja is available, always make sure to pick him. Not just he is the best support at the moment, his ultimate skill can turn the tides of the match to your favor. So, it’s better to have him on your team than
on the enemy’s side. The tips I mentioned are just some of the
ways you can use Kaja. This video just guides you on how to use Kaja,
the Kurumi way. We would like to thank our Wakandian brother,
Rackatan, for being our lab rat for this boot camp. You can search for him in-game and tell him
how much you appreciate him, willing to sacrifice his pride and honor just
to be a test subject. He loves receiving chocolate Agates and some
Angela dolls, or just even likes. So, once again. This is Kurumi and that’s how you use Kaja. Thanks for watching! Do not forget to like and share this video. Also subscribe to our channel for more contents
